PROCESS OF WRITING
Stage 1: Prewriting
-Decide on the topic to write about
-Consider subject, audience and purpose of writing
-Develop ideas through-brainstorming/clustering/free-writing
-List places where you can research information
-Search reading materials-better understanding of issues
Stage 2: Drafting
-Select relevant information from what you have researched and put it into your own words
-Draft rough outline to organise information (e.g. of patterns of writing or types of writing-descriptive, narrative, argumentative, expository)
-Read what you have written and judge if it says what you mean
-Ask others for their suggestion
Stage 3: Revision
-Read what you have written again and again
-Think about what others might says about it
-Rearrange words or sentences
-Take out or add parts
-Replace overused or unclear words
-Read your writing aloud to be sure it flows smoothly
Stage 4: Editing
-Check to ensure all sentences are complete
-Look for and correct spelling, capitalization, punctuation
-Change words that are ot used correctly
-Have someone check your work
-Recopy it correctly and neatly (if the need arise)
Stage 5: Publishing
-Put your writing on display:
-Post in Weblog/blog
-Upload in Youtube
-Share in Faceook/Twitter/Socialmedia
-Create a book of your work
-Illustrate, perform or set own creation to music
